The floor mounted enclosure anchors to the floor and stays in place around stationary equipment. It has a sliding track door for a 4-sided enclosure. The Portable Enclosure is a 3-sided unit that rolls on locking casters. Choose the floor mounted enclosure for a more permanent installation. Choose the portable enclosure for equipment that needs fast or frequent access.

A roof closes in the top of the enclosure and gets you closest to 15 dB of noise reduction. Without a roof, expect closer to 10 dB. The roof is available as an add-on when you choose your size.

The enclosure comes in two sizes: 4' x 4' (16 sq ft footprint) and 8' x 8' (64 sq ft footprint). Both are 8' tall. Reach out to us if you need a custom sized enclosure.

Yes, the enclosure has a sliding access door on a double track. Open it whenever you need to reach the equipment.

Yes, we offer a roof-top vent baffle and a side vent baffle as add-ons. The roof-top baffle measures 18" x 36" x 6", and the side baffle measures 15" x 30" x 2.5". Call us at 1-800-679-8511 or request a quote for a custom baffle for your equipment.

Anchor the base plates to the floor at each column location, then assemble the steel frame and the double track for the access door. Hang the blanket panels from their grommets and seal the seams with the included Velcro. Then add any options you ordered, such as the roof or view window. Yes, a clear vinyl full-width window, 24" high, is available as an add-on. It is made of clear MLV and lets you see the equipment without opening the enclosure.

Yes, you can cut the blanket walls on site with a utility knife or heavy-duty scissors to run conduit, piping, or cabling. Cutting on site lets the opening land exactly where you need it. Reach out to us about our field binding kit to finish the cut edges.

Yes, the standard vinyl facing usually handles coolant mist well. Tell us which chemical you use, and we will confirm it. For spark exposure, reach out to us for guidance.

The enclosure has a steel frame with walls made of our Quiet Quilt soundproof blanket material: mass loaded vinyl (MLV) bonded to a sewn, quilted fiberglass absorber.

The blanket walls are easy to clean. Rinse them with a hose, and use diluted bleach as a cleaner if needed. Avoid high-pressure hoses and power washers. For further cleaning instructions, please reach out.
