PolyZorbe™ Vivid Polyester Acoustic Clouds

A 1/2" PolyZorbe Vivid Cloud absorbs mid to high frequencies like human voices. Tested as a flush wall mount, the panel rates NRC 0.40. A cloud hangs with an air gap behind it, which raises absorption. For reference, the same material rates NRC 0.55 with a 3/4" air gap and NRC 0.70 with a 1-1/2" air gap.

Choose PolyZorbe Vivid Clouds for the widest color choice, with 12 colors at 1/2" thick. Choose a 1" or 2" PolyZorbe Cloud for more absorption. A 2" cloud suits studio control rooms, music rooms, theaters and gymnasiums.

A PolyZorbe Vivid Cloud hangs flat below the ceiling from four corner points. Clip the included corkscrew about 2-1/4 turns shorter with metal snips, which fits the 1/2" thickness. Screw each corkscrew in at least 4" from the corner, then run cable from each eyelet to the ceiling structure. Every cloud uses 4 hangers. PolyZorbe Vivid Clouds come in 12 colors at 1/2" thick: Beige, Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Grey, Orange, Purple, Red, Silver, Tan and White.

Yes, PolyZorbe Vivid Clouds are Class A fire rated according to ASTM E84, with a flame spread of 15 and a smoke developed rating of 200.

The standard PolyZorbe Vivid Cloud is 24" x 48" (8 sq ft).

A wire at each corner is our standard recommendation for a PolyZorbe Vivid Cloud. For a single center point, consult your installer or contractor.

A Vivid cloud can hang at whatever distance you want. A shorter drop is normal and common when clearance is low. In rooms with tall ceilings, your installer should consider sprinkler clearance, lighting and appearance.

If a corkscrew hanger goes into a PolyZorbe Vivid Cloud crooked or pokes through, start a new hole instead of reusing it. Match the new hole to the other corners so the cloud hangs flat.

We do not recommend painting a PolyZorbe Vivid Cloud. If the 12 PolyZorbe Vivid colors don't match your needs, reach out to us about fabric wrapped clouds.

A Vivid cloud can be cleaned with a vacuum for most cleaning. Vacuum the face with a soft brush attachment or blow it off with air. A dry sponge or damp white cloth handles light dirt. For stains, test a carpet cleaner such as Resolve or Spot Shot on a hidden spot first.

PolyZorbe Vivid Clouds are made from 60% recycled polyester and 40% virgin PET. They have no formaldehyde and no chemical irritants.
