OverKill Pro™ - 3/8" Closed Cell Foam

Yes, OverKill Pro stops rattles and squeaks from plastic panels. This 3/8" rubber-infused closed cell foam fills the gap between a hard plastic panel and the metal behind it. The foam holds the panel snug, so it cannot rattle against the metal.

We recommend OverKill Pro for most installs. It is 3/8" thick, so it fills the gap behind door panels, pillars, and trim. OverKill is 1/8" thick. Choose it when clearance is tight, such as around gaskets and speakers. Either way, pick the thickness that fills the gap with light compression. A loose fit will not stop rattles. Both come in 24" x 54" sheets (9 sq ft) of the same rubber-infused closed cell foam.

OverKill Pro goes behind plastic panels anywhere a hard panel sits against bare metal. Common spots are doors, A, B, and C pillars, cup holders, quarter panels, the trunk lid, and roof braces. It also works under Luxury Liner mass loaded vinyl on the floor, on the firewall, and on trunk floors and walls. You can apply it to the plastic panel or to the metal behind it.

Yes, you can use OverKill Pro behind car door panels. It fills the gap between the plastic door panel and the inner door skin, so the panel sits snug and stops rattling. OverKill Pro comes with a peel-and-stick backing if you choose that option. You can also use your own adhesive, or use it as a friction fit with no adhesive.

Cut OverKill Pro with a sharp utility knife or scissors. For door panels, a cardboard template makes it easy to trace the shape first. Leave enough clearance to reinstall seats, carpet, upholstery, and trim.
