OverKill™ Closed Cell Foam - 1/8"

Yes, OverKill stops rattles and squeaks from plastic panels. This 1/8" rubber-infused closed cell foam fills a small gap between a hard panel and the metal behind it. The panel stays in place instead of buzzing against the metal.

We recommend OverKill Pro for most installs. Its 3/8" thickness fills the larger gaps behind door panels and trim. Choose OverKill when clearance is tight, such as around gaskets and speakers. At 1/8" thick, it fits where OverKill Pro cannot. Whichever you pick, the foam should fill the gap with light compression. A loose fit is not effective. Both come in 24" x 54" sheets (9 sq ft).

OverKill works best in tight-clearance spots, such as around gaskets and speakers. It also goes on outer and inner door skin plastic, on the firewall, and on trunk floors and walls. You can use it on roof and ceiling areas, under rattling floor equipment, and wrapped around vibrating pipes. Where there is more room, such as behind door panels, we suggest OverKill Pro.

Yes, OverKill works around speakers and gaskets. At 1/8" thick, it fits tight spots where thicker foam will not. It is rated suitable as gasket material under UL 50.

For the best results, we apply OverKill on top of a constraint layer damper like Damplifier Pro or a liquid deadener like Spectrum. Pair it with Luxury Liner mass loaded vinyl if you also want to block road noise.

OverKill comes in 24" x 54" sheets (9 sq ft) that are 1/8" thick. Each sheet weighs 0.54 lbs. Order boxes of 1, 4, 6, 8, or 10 sheets, with or without a peel-and-stick backing.

Choose the Peel & Stick option and OverKill arrives ready to apply. You can also use your own adhesive, or use it as a friction fit with no adhesive.

To install OverKill, remove the upholstery, carpet, or plastic panels and wipe the bare metal with denatured alcohol. Cut the foam to size, adhere it, and put the panels back right away. See our OverKill install guide for the full steps.

A sharp utility knife or a pair of scissors cuts OverKill cleanly. Leave enough clearance to reinstall seats, carpet, upholstery, and trim.
