PolyZorbe™ Vivid Polyester Acoustic Baffles

Each PolyZorbe Vivid Baffle absorbs 2.85 to 6.10 sabins. The range depends on hanging depth and spacing, and deeper, wider spacing gives the higher number.

Choose PolyZorbe Vivid Baffles for the widest color choice, with 12 colors, or for pre-grommeted baffles. Choose a 1" or 2" PolyZorbe Baffle for the most absorption, especially at low frequencies.

Your room and sound goals decide how many Vivid baffles you need. Our acoustic calculator allows you to estimate based on your room size and goal. For help planning, call us at 1-800-679-8511 and one of our soundproofing experts will help.

A PolyZorbe Vivid Baffle hangs perpendicular to the ceiling. The grommets come pre-installed, in the portrait or landscape orientation you order. Loop light-duty cable or chain through the grommets on each side and close each loop with a cable clamp. The cable, chain and clamps are not included. Consult your installer or contractor for help anchoring them to the ceiling structure. See our PolyZorbe Baffle grommet install guide for each step.

PolyZorbe Vivid Baffles come in 12 colors: Beige, Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Grey, Orange, Purple, Red, Silver, Tan and White.

Yes, PolyZorbe Vivid Baffles are Class A fire rated according to ASTM E84, with a flame spread of 15 and a smoke developed rating of 200.

The standard baffle is 24" x 48" (8 sq ft). They come pre-grommeted, so you choose portrait or landscape orientation as desired.

You can hang the PolyZorbe Vivid baffle at whatever height works for your space. Generally, your installer should be considering sprinkler clearance, lighting and appearance to decide the right height for your install.

We do not recommend painting PolyZorbe baffles. We recommend picking the best-match color from our 12 color options.

A PolyZorbe Vivid baffle can be cleaned by vacuuming the face with a soft brush attachment or blowing with air. A damp white cloth lifts light dirt. For stains, test a carpet cleaner such as Resolve or Spot Shot on a hidden spot first.

A PolyZorbe Vivid Baffle is made from 60% recycled polyester and 40% virgin PET, with no formaldehyde and no chemical irritants.
