Acoustic Pro is an excellent sound absorber with an NRC of 0.85 at 1" thick and 1.15 at 2" thick.

Choose 2" for maximum performance, particularly at low-mid frequencies. The 2" panel has an NRC of 1.15, compared to 0.85 for 1". It is also a good pick when wall space is limited, because it absorbs more with less coverage. For lower-profile needs, the 1" panel is still a great pick.

Yes, Acoustic Pro is Class A fire rated per ASTM E84.

Our standard Acoustic Pro panels come in 2' x 2' (4 sq ft), 2' x 4' (8 sq ft), and 1' x 4' (4 sq ft). Each size comes in 1" or 2" thickness. We can quote custom sizes up to 5' x 10'.

Acoustic Pro is wrapped in acoustically transparent fabric, so sound passes through to the fiberglass core. Our standard fabric is FR701. We have 8 standard colors: Birch, Fossil, Asteroid, Onyx, Green Apple, Sunshine, Lapis, and Red Delicious, and dozens more depending on what you want. Yes, you can cut holes in Acoustic Pro. Start the cut from the back and peel out the fiberglass until you reach the fabric. Cut small slits in the fabric, wrap it to the inside of the hole, and re-adhere it with P329 spray adhesive. A flange on the fixture, like on a speaker, hides the cut edge.
